Turkey with Cauliflower and Apple

Here it is! Our "Greek" recipe. If you have read the blog "We travel and cook", you know what I am talking about. In short, I wrote a blog post about how I deal with Abby and Artie's food when we are on the road. This is the recipe from our trip, it is extremely quick (because on vacation no one wants to waste time cooking 😁😁) and very nutritious.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of rice
- 850 g turkey meat
- 3 small zucchini
- 1 small cauliflower, about 400 g
- 1 medium apple
Steps
- Wash all products. Peel the zucchini and cut the cauliflower into florets.
- Soak the rice in cold water.
- Place the turkey meat and vegetables in a pot and cover generously with cold water. Put it on the stove.
- After the water boils, let the meat boil for 30 minutes, and remove the vegetables after 20 minutes. Don’t forget to skim off the foam.
- Cut the cauliflower and zucchini into small pieces.
- When the meat is cooked, remove it from the broth and cut it into smaller pieces.
- Pour the rice into the turkey broth for 10-15 minutes.
- When the rice is cooked, remove it from the heat and add the meat first. Stir well.
- Then add the vegetables and stir again.
- The apple is last! Peel it, carefully remove all the seeds and cut it into cubes. Add it to everything else. Hop and done!
Notes and Warnings:
- Hot food is not suitable for pets!
- The food is suitable for giving to your pet when you can comfortably hold your finger in it without burning yourself.
- Store in the refrigerator.
Bon Appetit, furry friends!
